For my social media journalism project, I created a 10-slide Instagram Story package that highlighted my news story on the UNC Charlotte men’s basketball team’s roster changes and how fans are reacting to the transfer additions. The slides introduced the context of the offseason, broke down key player transfers, included a quote to represent fan sentiment, and used visuals and bullet-point facts to keep the information clear and engaging. The final slides promoted the full article with an eye-catching preview, aiming to drive students to read the full story while presenting campus sports news in a fast, social-media-friendly format.
